About Me

Hello! My name is Heather (she/her) and I am a Licensed Clinical Independent Social Worker, Registered Play Therapist™ and Child Mental Health Specialist. I am also certified in AutPlay® Therapy. I love to help people find their voice, especially when they feel like others have "given up" on them.

My approach is holistic mixture of Evidence Based Models depending on your needs and therapy goals. I feel like therapy is not a one approach fits all, and should not be awkward so I try to incorporate our true selves in session and meet you where you're at. We are all individuals and I believe in celebrating our differences incorporating them into session. Going with this, I am LGBTQ+ and neurodiversity affirming.

I have worked at Child Protective Services, Seattle Children’s Hospital, Lutheran Community Services, Kadlec, and Sageview Youth Psychology. Throughout all these positions, my passion has been serving individuals and families who have experienced abuse, neglect and other forms of trauma. I love working with individuals who are working through the aftermath of trauma, finding their path forward. I am passionate about helping those who have gone through challenges and are wanting to find support to find their new path in life.
